BUHL COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTER!!
The
Buhl Community Recreation Center (formerly the F.H. Buhl Club), established in 1903, is the area's most complete
non-profit recreational facility. Continuing the long rich tradition
of Frank H. Buhl, the Center offers many recreational and educational
activities to children, young people, men and women at very affordable
prices.
We offer the finest range of equipment, classes and facilities for
you to enjoy a healthier, fitter lifestyle regardless of your age
or physique. Services include a full-sized gym, indoor and outdoor
pools, racquetball and handball courts, locker rooms with showers
as well as workout equipment. |

The
facility also offers the Buhl Wellness Center, an 8,600 square foot
fitness center which features Mercer County's first indoor walking/running
track and the most modern cardiovascular and weight equipment. Operated
in collaboration with UPMC Horizon, the Buhl Fitness Center is able
to offer sports training and personnal fitness training under the
supervision of UPMC's fitness specialist to |
help
members maximize their workouts.
The Buhl Wellness Center features a comprehensive array of cardiovascular
equipment including Trotter teadmills, Life Fitness elliptical trainers,
Stairmaster stair climber, Nordic tracks, Schwinn Airdynes and Versa
climbers. Weight equipment includes Hammer, Nautilus, Cybex and
Bodymaster systems and free weights. We also sponsor educational
and exercise programs throughout the year including courses on weight
management and stress reduction.
